Unprecedented crowds filled the Atrium of the SCOPE Miami Beach Pavilion as its 17th edition opened on Tuesday, December 5th.
Against an ocean backdrop, VIPs enjoyed cocktails from Bombay Sapphire and light fare from Shokudo, cast in the glow of Felipe Pantone’s monumental site-specific installation courtesy of Mirus Gallery.
Celebrating a landmark year for the art world’s first satellite fair, SCOPE’s Founder and President, Alexis Hubshman, was honored by the City of Miami Beach Commission for the show’s achievements, in a bill sponsored by Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber, and Commissioners Michael Góngora and Kristin Rose Gonzalez. Accepting the award, Hubshman thanked SCOPE’s host city of Miami Beach, and renewed the show’s commitment to eco-friendly production and community engagement.
