Manss Aval in Upcoming EuroExpoArt 2016, Italy

EuroExpoArt is a highly relevant event entirely dedicated to Art and Artists promoted by NeoArtGallery in the beautiful setting of Vernice Art Fair in Forlì (Italy). The event  is being combined with the “Gran Premio Europa” Art Contest and will take place on March 18-20, 2016.

The event takes place in a 500 square meters area, made available by Romagna Fairs, and includes the “European Grand Prix” display area, the big Neoartgallery stand and several corners dedicated to special events, with an overall participation of 106 artists, 6 of them exclusively participating in special events.

For over ten years NeoArtGallery has been creating and supporting cultural and  promotional events such as fairs, exhibitions, symposiums, festivals. Ferdan Yusufi and Giorgio Bertozzi, founders of the Italian-Turkish Association, still carry on this tradition  and in 2016 they have brought further developments to the international activity with EuroExpoArt, a great event in the Venice Art Fair in Italy.

Artist Manss Aval’s art, Conjugates, was recently displayed at the Clio Art Fair 2016 in New York, NY. The Clio Art fair is known as the  “Anti-Art Fair for Independent Artists“. Beginning on March 2-6th, 2016, independent artists from all over the world met for a weekend of artist expression and awards.

The CLIO ART FAIR is a curated fair created with the idea of discovering independent artists and showcasing the careers and achievements of already affirmed creative minds.

Artist Manss Aval will be sharing his artwork at the upcoming Salon Art Shopping Contemporary Art Exposition at the Carrousel Du Louvre in Paris.

The Salon Art Shopping Contemporary Art Exposition allows artist lovers the pleasure of previewing and hoping the latest trends in contemporary art all in one spot. The event features more than 600 artists and galleries participating from all over the world – Argentina, Brazil, China, Korea, Spain, Italy, Japan, Russia … and not to mention artists from all across France! The show is a spectacular event to experience and truly a must see.

The art exposition kicks off May 27-29, 2016, with public access open: 
Saturday, May 28: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 29: 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

OpenArtCode International Artists Exhibiting in Venice, February 5-20

Openartcode 3The OpenArtCode group of international artists will exhibit in Venice on February 5-20, 2016. The exclusive OpenArtCode Show will be held at the Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti.

Forty-eight artists will be exhibiting at Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti under the umbrella of OpenArtCode during the world-famous Venice Carnival and all genres of art can be admired, including painting, drawing, sculptures, photographs, digital art and installations.

The Event Is Happening Now

The opening  night of the Venice OpenArtCode contemporary art exhibition was a overwhelming success.  More than 300 people in attendance for the opening and about 1000 visitors registered for the first weekend the show is open to the public. Venetian society and consuls representing the various countries, art lovers, art critics and artists filled the rooms of Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti for opening night of the OpenArtCode contemporary art show. The turn-out has been truly spectacular thus far, much more excitement anticipated.

OpenArtCode is composed of a group of renowned artists who have very different technical styles and their artistic formation is varied. They have united their talents in the past to exhibit together in Paris at the Grand Palais, in Monaco at the Auditorium Rainier III, at the Oxo Gallery in London and in Shanghai at Pudong Library and CEIBS. Manss Aval has recently returned from his Solo Art Show at Photo L.A.. The artist’s award-winning photographs were featured in the  25th Annual International Los Angeles Photographic Art Exposition, held at the The Reef in Los Angeles.

The International Photographic Art Exposition – Photo L.A. proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary fair on January 21-24, 2016 at The Reef, located in the historic LA Mart building in Downtown Los Angeles. The art event kicked off  on January 21st with the Opening Night Gala, held in honor of artist James Welling with the proceeds benefiting Best Buddies International.

Photo L.A. has a long and rich history of bringing the photographic and arts communities together. Each year expands the uniquely diverse showcase of photographic art, ranging from 19th Century works to contemporary and innovative photo-based art. Galleries, dealers, museums, schools, and non-profit organizations participate to define what photography has been, what it is today, and what it might evolve into.

Over the last 25 years, Photo L.A.’s commitment in showcasing unique and visually powerful photographic art has resulted in a large, loyal following of dedicated collectors, diverse gallery representation, and wide-ranging art enthusiasts. The show sees an average of 12,000 guests attending and celebrating photography in its many glorious forms.

Winners Announced for the 2015 Monochrome Photography Awards

Every year the Monochrome Photography Awards conducts an annual competition for Professional and Amateur photographers. Their primary mission is to celebrate monochrome visions and discover most amazing photographers from around the world.

Artist Manss Aval recently won two Honorable Mentions for his breathtaking piece, ‘Salk Institute’ in the Architecture Category and his multi-award winning piece, ‘Devil No Prada’ in the Fashion and Beauty Category.   The honorable mentions for his fine art photography will be included in the Monochrome Photography Awards Annual Book.

The special Monochrome Photography Book features all the Honorable Mention winners and includes the work of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, along with other entries that the competition judges felt were worthy of commendation from both the professional and amateur sections.

Australian photographer Luke Tscharke was announced the overall winner of Professional category with his winning image, called ‘Barossa Bolt’. Barossa Bolt shows a large storm and lightning strikes over the Barossa Valley, South Australia. In the Amateur category, German photographer Hans Wichmann was announced the Monochrome Discovery of the Year, a title given to the overall winner in the Amateur category for his work, ‘Mosque‘.

The 2015 Monochrome Awards received 7212 submissions from 79 countries around the world. Winning images were selected by panel of international judges, including: Allison Barnes, Katarina Balgavy, Claire A. Warden, Anna Filipova, Rebecca Cairns, Ted Preuss, David Fokos, Roman Loranc, David Johndrow, Stefano Brunesci, Tomasz Lazar, Dominique Bollinger, Andre Brito, Giacomo Brunelli and Martin Stavars.

Manss Aval is an artist and long-time fine art photographer who works and resides in San Diego, California. Inspired by Nature’s patterns and textures his works transform inanimate objects into faces, designs and complete figures that present our environment in a different, more intimate perspective. As primary medium he concentrates on photography, acrylic and oil on canvas, and mixed media techniques. Among his other interests are sculptures, video and film. Artist Manss Aval‘s art will be displayed February 13-26, 2016 in the famous Colorida Art Gallery,  in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Colorida Art Gallery is located by the St. George’s Castle in Lisbon, Portugal in a historical building more than 150 years old. The space for exhibitions spans 300 m² and allows for  Colorida to present an eclectic program that characterizes the current art, promoting the plurality of languages. The Colorida presents in its exhibitions, emerging and mid-career artists working in different forms of art, such as painting, photography, object design, furniture design and ceramic art. The exhibitions are wonderfully accompanied by catalogs with the featured Artist’s work in high resolution, enabling visitors an analysis of the artist’s work in the best of high fidelity exposure possible.

About the Colorida Art Gallery

Colorida Art Gallery, located in Lisbon, Portugal, and has been “living and breathing art” for over 7 years. The gallery organizes exhibitions of contemporary art in a building more than a century old. The neighborhood where the gallery is located in is known as Mouraria, one of the most popular neighborhoods in Lisbon. It was at this neighborhood that “Fado” was born and many famous Fado singers were also born in Mouraria.

Colorida exhibits artworks literally, from around the world and painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, watercolor, are displayed at Colorida’s magnificent space.

“Show Your World” International Art Competition, New York

Artist Manss Aval has been invited to participate in the upcoming “Show Your World” International Art Competition. The event will take place on January 15-17, 2016 at the Gallery MC New York. The art exhibit is being hosted by ARTISTE International Art Organization in collaboration with Gallery MCNYC.

“Show Your World” International Art Competition brings together artists of various media from more than 43 countries. The art competition requires that all the Artists submit their best artwork reflecting and depicting the world as they see it.

About “Show Your World”

The “Show Your World” exhibit is about artistic vision and interpretation of the world and life. The works are diverse in media and assumptions as much as the vision of hundreds of artists can vary, and thus are absolutely unique.

Twenty finalists of the art competition have a chance to exhibit their original artwork while the work of all participating artists will be demonstrated digitally.

Manss Aval MD Visions

Natural Worlds Art Show

Digital Photographer magazine, in conjunction with Exhibitoo, recently held an art competition, the Natural Worlds Art Show. The art competition featured a wonderful piece of Manss Aval’s fine art photography titled,  MD Visions (below). MD Visions exhibits how the Artist’s creativity is applied in bird photography.

The Artist was highly commended for his art  and is now featured on the Digital Photographer Website, Natural World Photography Contest Winners Revealed.

Manss Aval is an artist and long-time fine art photographer who works and resides in San Diego, California. He studied at the University of Hamburg and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He has a broad background in media, communications and the sciences (including a Ph.D.). PHOTOcentric’s 2015 New York Gallery Show Happening Now

Artist Manss Aval is participating in the PHOTOcentric’s 2015 New York Gallery Show. The show started on December 5 and continues until January 10, 2016.

His photo Break (below) was selected for inclusion in the grand event. The art show is being hosted at the Garrison Art Center in Garrison, New York.
