Manss Aval invited to participate in the Florence Biennale coming up later this month, October 17 through the 25.

Artist Manss Aval’s “Gondolieri Shadow” has won a juried selection for the 7th Edition of the Pollux Awards, 2015.  The fine art photography piece has been selected for the Nature category.

The Artist Manss Aval was also named a Gala Awards Finalist for two of his photographs both in Fine Art categories:   “A Moment Ago ” and “Wagner Moment“. Wagner Moment has won a number of awards this year and continues to be a favorite among Manss Aval fans and art juries.

 

Manss Aval’s photograph titled ‘Devil No Prada’ will be on display at the Blank Wall Gallery in the upcoming Fine Art Exhibition beginning August 30th, 2015 through September 17th 2015.

About Manss Aval

Manss Aval is an artist and long-time fine art photographer who works and resides in San Diego, California. Inspired by Nature’s patterns and textures his works transform inanimate objects into faces, designs and complete figures that present our environment in a different, more intimate perspective. As primary medium he concentrates on photography, acrylic and oil on canvas, and mixed media techniques. Among his other interests are sculptures, video and film. He has a broad background in media, communications and the sciences (including a Ph.D.).

His work is available at the Maya Fine Art Gallery, San Diego, the Laguna Gallery of Contemporary Art, Laguna Beach, California and at the Embler Art Gallery, in the Admirals Club, at the JFK International Airport, New York.

Artist Manss Aval’s photograph ‘Inescapable’ will be on display in the Egalitarian Album Gallery in London. The show kicked off July 16 and runs through August 21. Manss Avals’ Inescapable will be showcased at the event, so if you are in the London area, you don’t want to miss this event! This is the first exhibit for the Album gallery and they have really made a debut with the mixture of talent displayed at the London event.

Album is London’s new photography gallery exhibition. Created by Paul Bridge, his new exhibition came to life when he encouraged photographers to submit their best shot, regardless of field, genre or format. What resulted was absolutely amazing and embodies a variety of talents from all across the world.

Coverage of the gallery exhibit by Amateur Photographer stated the result is ‘egalitaria’: a collection of images that underlines just how broad and expansive a practice photography is. Manss Aval Inescapable

 

Artist Manss Aval’s “Dante’s Visit“ was selected by the Donkey Art Prize 3 for inclusion in the show going on this week in Miami Beach Florida, August 5-10, 2015.The Donkey Art Prize 3 Miami Showcase will be held at the at the Viophilia Gallery-Studio  in Winwood, Miami Beach, FL.

Donkey Art Prize 3 Miami Showcase

The 3rd annual Donkey Art Prize is an international contemporary art contest. The Opening Event, which is not to missed, is scheduled for Saturday, August 8 from 8 pm to 10 pm during the monthly Art-Walk The monthly Art-Walk is one of the most important artistic events of the city.

The showcase winners will be selected from two categories and the judges will pick four winners with an additional 100 finalists for having the most outstanding artistic presentations. Winners will receive awards and inclusion in the upcoming traveling art shows scheduled for Milan and Dubia.

Blindonkey Cultural Association is presenting the Donkey Art Prize Showcase and art competition. According to the Blindonkey Cultural Association, the Art Showcase is not your typical art competition born to award great names and and already famous artists only to “make noise” and appear more important to critics and experts, It’s something else. The showcase is based purely on the artists skills and merit put forth in their work, not about who they are, but what they can artistically create.

The Art Showcase is located at the  Viophilia Gallery-Studio 164 NW 20 Unit 101, Miami FL.
